Are You a Novice with Bulletin Boards?
No problem. Here are some basic instructions to help you get started. Whenever
you’re ready to jump ahead to use the bulletin board, click one of the “bulletin
board” links located at the top and bottom of this page.
What is a Bulletin
Board?
A bulletin board is an interactive service which allows you to post a question
or comment that others can respond to. You can reply to someone else’s entry,
or create a new one of your own. Others don’t need to be on-line at the time
that you post your entry - it stays on the bulletin board for a few weeks
to give others time to respond.
How do I use
the Bulletin Board?
There is no need to enter any of your personal information to access the
bulletin board. You can bypass the “login” instructions provided by the bulletin
board company, and get started “posting” messages right away.
1. On the main bulletin board page, look under the “Forum” column, and
click on “General”. That link takes you to the page which shows the discussions
currently in progress.
2. The next page will show you a list of topics currently posted on
the bulletin board. If you see a topic that interests you, click on the topic
title to view the posts. If you wish to reply, click on the “Add Reply” button
and type in your comment.
3. To create a new topic for feedback, click on the “New Topic” button,
then type in your message and then click the “Add Post” button. Your message
will be entered on the bulletin board.
4. To exit the bulletin board at any time, click “Home” on any of the
bulletin board pages. Or, you can page backwards by clicking the “Back” button
on your web browser.
5. If you are still unable to access the bulletin board, call the Green-Up
office at (705) 745-3238 or email us at greenup@greenup.on.ca.
Note: The bulletin board will be monitored regularly by Keenet’s webmaster,
and outdated or unsuitable entries will be checked and removed
